About the Position

As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for tracking all organizational and planning aspects of our projects, ranging from global events to local community gatherings, dynamic marketing funnels to web design sprints, and e-commerce inventory structuring to artwork collection digitalization + archiving. You must be highly organized, detail-oriented, tech-savvy, a natural problem solver, and a clear communicator.

Location: Capitola, CA
Part-time employment (20-30 hours/week)
Hybrid – work remotely + 2-3 days/week in-office and determine a schedule that supports your life
Compensation: $32,000 - $48,000 / year - salaried base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience
Responsibilities
Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements in operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Event Management: Implement event planning infrastructures and manage onsite team and venue coordination at local and global events.
Maintain Client Relations: build and sustain long-standing relationships with customers and key partners.
Logistics Management: Oversee and coordinate logistics for various projects and events, including scheduling, resource allocation, and the development of inventory systems for various media (indigenous artwork + video/image/audio archives).
Documentation and SOP Management: Maintain and create accurate, up-to-date documentation related to operational processes, guidelines, and procedures.
Coordination: Act as a liaison between team members and partners, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
Data Analysis: Analyze operational data and metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and key performance indicators.
Budget Insight: Collaborate with finance and management teams to monitor and manage operational budgets.
Resolution Management: Address and resolve customer + internal team issues promptly, escalating as necessary to ensure smooth business operations.
Requirements
We need to see:

Outstanding written and oral communication skills
Detail-oriented, with solid organizational and record-keeping capabilities
Experience with Mac OS and cloud-based applications (e.g., GoogleApps, Dropbox or Box.com)
A love for nature and an affinity for global cultures
We’d like to see:
A motivated self-starter and problem-solver
2+ years of communications, event, or operations-related work experience
Experience with project management software (e.g., Asana, Jira, Notion, Coda, Trello, etc.)
Knowledge of CRM applications (e.g., Hubspot, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.)
Understanding of basic accounting applications (e.g., Quickbooks Online, Xero, Freshbooks, etc.)
